Unveiling the Faces Behind the Magic: Meet the Team!

Michael

Coach

I’m the head coach and owner of MYCoaching. I began coaching in 2016 in my hometown Penrith, UK. Since then, I went on to complete a National Diploma in sports fitness, coaching and development, my UEFA B certification in coaching and a Bachelor’s degree in sports and business management. I have worked within grass roots and professional clubs which has allowed me to work with some fantastic people, talented players and visit some of the best academies in the UK and Europe.
As well as coaching I have maintained a playing career starting from the age of 6 until now, playing in various leagues in the UK and now state league here in Perth. I love the game and being able to pass on my knowledge and passion to those who I coach

Paul

Coach

I have been part of the MYCoaching team from the start, working closely with Michael to establish the company and develop the programs. I started my football career when I was 8 and have played at NPL level throughout my teenage years and now playing in the state league.
I have always had a passion for coaching, from watching my Dad who coached me and then volunteering at local coaching programs. Joining MYCoaching has allowed me to continue coaching in a more professional environment and work with a wider range of players. I want to reach the highest level I can as a coach, and I encourage all the players I work with to do the same in everything that they do.

Klayton

Coach

Born in Johannesburg, South Africa. I moved to Australia at the age of 3 and shortly after in 2008 I started my footballing journey as a player. I’ve played NPL at a junior level and won the u18s Metro League title, league cup and top 4 cup.
I have a diploma in sports development and earlier this year I attained my C license. I have been working at MYCoaching for the past year where I have been leading the soccer stars program at numerous locations. Additionally, I have been coaching a local under 12’s team which has helped me develop as a coach and further my knowledge of the sport.
Coaching for me isn’t about winning or having the best players, but to be able to write a chapter in every player’s book and have a positive impact of everyone’s life on and off the field.

Jamie

Coach

My name is Jamie Perry and I’m 16 years old, I’ve been playing football since the age of 7 and ever since then I’ve been completely obsessed. I’ve also recently completed a certification 3 at TAFE in fitness which has given me a broader understanding with certain aspects of coaching. I joined the team at MYcoaching this year and it’s been a great experience. It has challenged me in numerous aspects of coaching, working with the little ones at soccer stars to the more experienced players in the academy.
As a coach the most important thing for me is to develop the love for the game for every kid I coach. I took on the role of the U13s coach at Swan Valley this year and it’s helped me develop the initial skills I will need to be a quality coach. I also love running the 1 on 1 and group sessions as it allows me to concentrate on the finer details to help develop their game further which has also helped me as a coach and a player.
My aim is to further my knowledge by completing my coaching badges and continue to gain as much coaching experience as possible.
